History . . . . .
Our lovely little "cream city brick" chapel was built in 1869, just after the Civil War. It was originally built by the Episcopal faith. For many years after the church was closed, it was used to store hay.  I have had many local people stop in and tell me how they would make tunnels through the hay to play in. Well, things have changed!!!  After that period of time, the Metho-dist faith used the Chapel.   They refurbished it in the 1960's, and then our little Chapel was closed again sometime in the late 60's or early 70's.  During this time our diamond-in-the-rough sat . . . for almost 30 years.

About fifteen years ago,my Father came upon the little Church and thought it would make a great antique store. He purchased it and waited to retire and have his store. Unfortunately he passed away before realizing his dream. Having previously owned a Bed and Breakfast in Lake Geneva, I thought I would refurbish the Chapel in my Father's memory . . . and that is what I did!!

We gave it a complete makeover tip to toe, however keeping the quaint and quirky parts. My Mother and I opened a store in the lower level called "Pray For More Stuff", and my living quarters were housed in the sanctuary. We left it completely open, with 30 feet soaring ceilings, adding a kitchen, additional bedroom loft, and bathroom.
Now . . . eleven years later, we are opening our doors so the public can enjoy our gem and this church once again!!!!
